Luckily, we live in a windy county of Germany and there are plenty of kite festivals so if you’ve missed a few of them, take heart, there are still a few left this year. Also, most of these are annual events so you can catch it the next time around, unless of course your pcs’ing and I can’t help you there.

- Oct 10 – 11 22nd Annual Kite Festival Malmsheim, 71272, Sat 10-9pm., Sun 10 – 5 p.m.
- Oct 11 Odenwälder Kite Festival, 1 – 5 p.m.
- Oct 17 – 18 Kite Festival Hülben, opens Saturday at 12 p.m, also a fireworks display at night.
- Oct 24 – 25 Kite Festival Münsingen – Dottingen, begins 1 p.m. On the airfield, bouncy castles, food and bring your own kite to fly.
