Kaiserslautern’s Volkspark is a hidden gem in the heart of Ktown. Covering approximately 17 acres, this public park is free to visit and home to a variety of wildlife including deer, pheasant, ducks and a stream filled with trout. On a hot summer day, find some shade beneath a tree and have a picnic!
While you’re at the park, be sure to check out the Wildpark nearby. This 62 acre game park is home to six large enclosures for raising wild boar, horses, rabbits and deer. You can wander throughout the park and watch the different animals that call it home.
