Here are our tips for making the most of your trip to Legoland Deutschland.

1) Buy your tickets online before you go.

Tickets to Legoland in Germany are a lot cheaper if you purchase them online through the website before you go. Buying tickets before the park even opens for the season (at the end of March) saves you even more cash!

2) Get the ‘Family’ ticket.

If you are a family of four or five, you will save a bundle by buying the Family Ticket rather than buying individual tickets.  This provides you with a pass for your family and usually saves you around 40 Euro.

3) Consider staying overnight.

If you were planning to stay in a hotel near Legoland and make a real vacation of it, look into staying at one of the Legoland accommodations.  The website often has sales on Holiday Village and the Knights Castle (including its 34 theme rooms) that include tickets to the park in the cost of the room and this can often be a real deal for a family visiting the park.  There are even tents that you can stay in for a real adventure!

4) Throw it in a locker.

If you are planning a day trip, there are lockers near the entrance that you can use to throw your extra belongings that you don’t want to cart around the park all day long.

5) Leave Fido at home.

Dogs are not permitted at the park or in the Legoland hotels and campsites.

6) Take to the web.

The LEGOLAND Park website is full of information for your visit, from maps and guides to tips and hints.
