Located on the French Riviera in the south of France, Nice is a vibrant city blessed with sunny days and good weather all year around. Nice offers beautiful beaches, long promenades and fantastic attractions. Here are five destination ideas to make your holiday in Nice as nice as it can be!

1. Beaches

With beautiful weather and sun all year long, Nice is a great place for those who love to tan and spend their time in the warmth. Rent a bed on one of the pebbly beaches and enjoy the comfort and luxury offered by selected hotels.

Castel Plage is a very popular private beach and very close to the Old Town, with its own restaurant, which offers a great service for its visitors.

2. Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art

Nice is the place where old and contemporary art come together in a perfect mix. The Musée d’Art Moderne et d’Art Contemporain is located in the city centre and hosts a collection of beautiful masterpieces of both European and American modern art, featuring new realism and pop art.

In the Musée Matisse you can admire paintings by some of the most famous modernist artists. Take time as well for a visit to the Musée National Message Biblique Marc Chagall, which offers a collection of biblically themed paintings located in a bunker-like building.
