4 Things to Do in Wiesbaden

The Herald Union military community newspaper, serving the Wiesbaden and Baumholder areas, has some great ideas for getting outdoors and exploring in Wiesbaden:

  1. The Nerobergbahn is a wooden train that will take you up the hill to view Wiesbaden from above, using hydroelectric power.
  2. The Kletterwald high ropes course will give you a climbing adventure that is fun and safe for all!  Take a look at the gallery of photos (galerie) on the website to give you a look at the course.
  3. Bike along the Main, Nidda, and Rhein Rivers.  Learn more by reading this article in the Herald Union.
  4. The Wiesbaden Animal Park is a great way to enjoy a sunny day in Germany.  This animal sanctuary in Wiesbaden (called the Fasanerie) has over 50 different species from storks to wolves that you can visit.  You can even feed the goats and deer by purchasing a bag of food pellets.
